Lindsey, an Associate Attorney at The Cromeens Law Firm, has been practicing law since 2014, specializing in various areas, including but not limited to personal injury cases (auto accident, medical malpractice, premise liability, and wrongful death actions) as well as 1983 Civil Rights Violation Acts, EEOC Employment Discrimination, and negligence. In 2020, after marrying her best friend, she relocated to Logrono, Spain, and lived there for two years while continuing to practice law as an independent contract attorney.
In 2022, after relocating back to Houston, Lindsey expanded her horizons by gaining defense civil litigation experience and maritime expertise. Her career has covered both plaintiff and defense work, showcasing her versatility and commitment to delivering justice. She’s tried cases as first chair in state and federal courts and currently handles both plaintiff and defense work in construction civil litigation. She’s been a valuable addition to TCLF since early 2023.
Her educational journey took her from New Orleans to Houston, where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Economics with a minor in International Business from the University of Houston. Fun fact: she also ran track and cross country for the University of Houston. While at the University of Houston, she also attended a study abroad at the University of Granada in Spain. After graduating, she attended Georgetown University in Washington, DC, attending the Charles Hamilton Houston program, and shortly after, she obtained her Juris Doctorate at Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law. While in law school, she attended another study abroad program in Puerto Rico, where she obtained several credits in immigration law.
Outside of her professional life, Lindsey is a mother to a two-year-old son, and family time is her top priority. She enjoys travelling and sharing new experiences with her loved ones.
Lindsey’s journey is influenced by a deep commitment to her clients and an unwavering desire to make a difference. While her focus wasn’t initially on construction law, it has become a fulfilling and rewarding journey, allowing her to be an advocate for those in need.
Attorney – Contract Review Specialist
Sarah is not your average contract review specialist; she’s a dynamic force dedicated to making a difference. With a passion for law and a heart that beats for advocacy, Sarah has found her calling in the legal industry.

Growing up with an autistic little brother, Sarah learned the importance of advocacy for those who need a voice. “Everybody deserves someone to fight for them, whether it’s a family needing legal support or a subcontractor seeking representation. Everyone deserves access to justice, and that’s why I do what I do.”

As the Vice President, Jessica Mora runs The Cromeens Law Firm (TCLF) as a well-oiled machine. In addition, she leads the firm’s mechanic’s lien and collection department. Jessica is passionate about her job and helping her clients. She enjoys taking on challenges and thinking outside the box to problem-solve on behalf of her clients in today’s ever-changing world of construction projects. Mora is a go-getter and enjoys helping people get what’s rightfully theirs. She understands that the construction industry is tough; there are so many strong individuals that have spent their lives working towards building an empire and working hard for their money… to not get paid what is rightfully theirs is just wrong! She wants to continue to educate those that need assistance, helping her clients understand and learn the process of collecting the money they are owed. Protecting them and their business is of the utmost importance to Jessica, and she wants them to know how to protect themselves on the front-end.
Jessica was born and raised in Houston and is a devoted mother, wife, daughter, boss, and friend. She is incredibly passionate about her career and loves her job and her work family. Mora doesn’t feel like she works a day in her life when she is at the office. She loves what she does each and every day. Before leading the Lien Department and becoming the Vice President at TCLF, she was the assistant manager at an apartment complex. After going back to school, she started working with Karalynn Cromeens and has been with her for the last 9 years. They are a fantastic team that supports, encourages, and paves the way for their staff.
When Jessica is not working hard for her clients, she enjoys spending time with her family. She is very family-oriented and believes time together with them is priceless. Jessica enjoys being outside, and you may find her sipping a Remy Martin Cocktail on her patio with her husband while the kids spend time together.
Having so many family members in the construction industry in all different areas of the field, I understand how important it is to stand up for yourself. I want to stand up for those who can’t stand up for themselves. They have rights, too. Just because they might not speak English doesn’t mean they don’t have the right to protect their money and get paid. A lot of people do not realize their rights in the construction industry. Don’t work for free…get paid for what is rightfully yours!
Yaritsol Villanueva (Yari) was born in Mexico and moved to the US when she was four years old. Houston raised, Yari learned about the construction industry at a young age. Growing up she was surrounded by construction work, both her father and brother worked in the construction industry for 20+ years and started their own company that deals with concrete and construction. Yari knew that she would somehow end up in that line of business when she began her career and is thrilled to be a part of The Cromeens Law Firm (TCLF) team as an Accounting Assistant. Driven to go above and beyond at her job, she is a quick learner and takes pride in her work. The ability to work for a company that has esteemed leaders that not only care for their business but also care for each person like they are family, is a blessing.
Yari is very good with computers, and her team comes to her with any and all IT questions first before sourcing it out. She is passionate about learning new things and solving issues quickly. Driven to excel in everything she does, Yari delivers quality work. She is respectful of her clients and team and loves being a part of a company that believes in those same principles. When she is not working, you can find Yari photographing her beautiful children; she has a passion for photography and loves practicing her skill with her family!
I grew up surrounded by family in the construction industry. I learned at a very young age how much care and thought goes into nurturing every aspect of your business. It is your livelihood and others depend on you. Depend on us. The Cromeens Law Firm is your first step to protecting what you’ve built.

Having been in the customer service industry for nearly ten years, Jennifer Lopez is a cut above the rest when it comes to maintaining client relationships. Born in Houston and raised in Atlanta for six years, Jennifer went to Klein Forest High School and is attending the University of Houston-Downtown in the Fall of 2022.
At the age of 16, she started working in the service industry as the first point of contact and quickly learned how important it is to make a great first impression. She learned early on that when it comes to serving the needs of her clients, it is important that the customer always feels heard and is treated with respect. A team player and hard worker, Lopez is determined to learn from each experience with her clients and her colleagues. It is incredibly important for her to positively impact those she is assisting at work and in the construction community.
When Jennifer is not working, you might find her taking her seven-year-old Labrador, Buttercup, to the dog park, traveling, spending time with family and friends, or watching true crime documentaries.
Many of us here at TCLF have family members in the construction industry, which makes us want to care for our clients and protect their business even more because we know how hard they have worked. My dad and uncles have been in the construction industry for over 20+ years, so it hits home when a customer calls saying they need help. I see it as a family member calling.
