Danielle is a committed legal professional with nearly a decade of experience, combining her law enforcement background with a passion for justice. Her journey into the legal field has always been driven by a desire to effect positive change, inspired by an attorney’s story during a fifth-grade career fair. Today, her motivation stems from creating a life her son, Dakota, can be proud of while striving to break generational cycles for her family.
Danielle began her career as a Communications Officer with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, quickly advancing to Communications Shift Supervisor. Her journey continued at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office, where she served as a Patrol Officer and made history as the first female K9 Deputy. After welcoming her son, Danielle pursued her lifelong dream of becoming an attorney, gaining valuable experience in criminal law, family law, personal injury, medical malpractice, and civil litigation at two private practice firms. Additionally, she served as a legal assistant at the 16th Judicial District Public Defender’s Office, focusing on felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases.
Danielle is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at Northwestern State University and will also receive an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from South Louisiana Community College in Summer 2025. Afterward, she plans to attend Thurgood Marshall School of Law for her Juris Doctorate.
Outside of the office, you can find Danielle going on adventures with her son and making timeless memories with her family. She’s also passionate about self-care days, trying new restaurants, and hitting the shops.
Since joining The Cromeens Law Firm in 2024, Danielle has found a supportive environment where leadership and dedication to clients thrive. With aspirations to finish her education, become an attorney, and launch a business with her friend Toyia Smith, Danielle is determined to leave a lasting impact on her community, embodying the belief that “it’s not about the product, it’s about the process.”
