Karalynn Cromeens gained first-hand knowledge of the construction industry by founding Morrell Masonry Supply Inc, a Masonry & Building Supply company that she started with her husband Brad. She and Brad worked countless hours, and gave their blood, sweat, and tears to grow Morrell into the successful, multi-location construction supply company it is today.
Karalynn Graduated Law School from South Texas College of Law Houston.
Having grown up in a family of subcontractors and having seen the issues contractors face first-hand, while running Morrell Masonry Supply Inc, Karalynn founded a construction law firm now known as The Cromeens Law Firm.
The Cromeens Law Firm’s 1st Employee was hired to assist Karalynn in the liens and collections department and opens its first brick and mortar location at 1413 Brittmore Road, where Karalynn and her team officed out of from 2007 – 2015.
Karalynn’s team of employees grew at a rapid rate, including the hiring of Jessica Mora, who then became the liens and collections specialist in 2011.
In addition to the rollout of the flat rate lien pricing model, the firm rolled out their new General Retainer which paved the way in transparent and affordable legal pricing that was accessible to the smaller subcontractor.
In a blink of an eye, the small team grew to an office full of 16 employees and moved from 8558 Katy Freeway to 8431 Katy Freeway, to better serve clients and the growing team of employees. The new team expanded a breadth of services from collections and litigation to RCLA & contract services to better equip the contractor with the proper protection.
Courtney Stricklen was promoted as the Head of the Legal Department to guide the growing team of attorneys at the firm. To better serve all of their Texas clients, TCLF opens their second office, located in San Antonio, Texas.
Karalynn has a heart for giving and partnered with Heroes for Children, a non-profit organization that advocates for and provides financial and social assistance to families with children battling cancer. See more about our Community Outreach on our Giving Back page.
