I moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1989 from a small town located in Sevier County, Arkansas named Horatio, population under 1,000. My father was a logger; my mother was a registered nurse. We didn’t have much, but the value of work ethic, humility, and pride in helping your family, friends and community were instilled in me at a young age. I have tried to pass the same on to my own children.
I enrolled in the University of Arkansas in 1989, and received my bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 1994. I entered the University t of Arkansas School of Law, graduating in 1997.
Over the last quarter of a century, I have focused on construction litigation related to insurance claims, handling and directing everything from the onset of the “occurrence” which triggers the policy, to the setting of reserves for defense and indemnity, to the investigation and adjustment phases and the litigation, subrogation and indemnity and appellant stages of litigation in all types of personal, auto and commercial claims.
My parents said: “Respect yourself and others. Don’t every believe you are too good or not enough to speak with anyone, and help when you can.” True quote, and I believe it to this day.
