Ebony Young-Fair is an associate attorney at The Cromeens Law Firm PLLC. Ebony attended Missouri State University, in Springfield Missouri, where she obtained a double Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Sociology. In 2014, she moved to Houston to attend the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate. Ebony has been licensed to practice since 2017 and is licensed in Texas and the Southern District of Texas. Before joining the Cromeens Law Firm in 2021, Young-Fair was a Lone Star Legal Aid staff attorney. Her primary practice included representing clients in infrastructure cases focusing on drainage and ADA accessibility, litigating real property disputes such as liens and landlord and tenant issues, nondisclosures, expunctions, and nonprofit formation. Upon joining the Cromeens Law Firm, Ebony typically represents business owners, homeowners, general contractors, and subcontractors.

  • Filed more than a thousand lawsuits to foreclose or remove mechanic’s liens, with several of those being tried to a jury.
  • Defended hundreds of subcontractors when they have been sued on their subcontract.
  • Reviewed numerous subcontracts, and advised subcontractors on changes and negotiated better terms on their behalf.
